I bring a diverse clinical background and a deeply personal passion for helping people feel their best at every stage of life. At The Vitality Co, I focus on wellness and preventive care, including hormone optimization, peptide and GLP therapies, and aesthetics.

My path in healthcare began as a physical therapist assistant, a role I held for 12 years before becoming a registered nurse in 2010. My nursing career took me to the bedside in high-acuity intensive care settings, including cardiac, cardiothoracic surgical, and medical pulmonary ICUs. I later transitioned into advanced practice while continuing my work in the medical pulmonary ICU and expanding into hospice care in 2022. These experiences have given me a unique perspective on caring for patients across the spectrum of health—from critical illness and complex chronic disease to quality-of-life and end-of-life care.

My interest in wellness and preventive medicine grew from both my professional and personal experiences. Working in the ICU during the COVID-19 pandemic meant witnessing tremendous illness, suffering, and loss while simultaneously recognizing the toll that years of caring for others had taken on my own health. My subsequent work in hospice helped me reconnect with the provider-patient relationship and reinforced my desire to help people improve their health and quality of life earlier—before illness becomes the focus of their care.

That desire became even more personal when I began experiencing symptoms of perimenopause. Despite seeking help through traditional medical channels, I found myself with lingering questions and treatment options that did not fully address what I was experiencing. Determined to better understand my own health, I began doing my own research and pursuing additional education and training in hormone replacement therapy. Along the way, I discovered that my experience was shared by countless women—and that men often face similar challenges surrounding hormonal changes, energy, body composition, sleep, and overall well-being.

That journey ultimately led me to The Vitality Co, where I can combine decades of healthcare experience with a more proactive and individualized approach to medicine. I am passionate about listening to my patients, helping them understand what is happening in their bodies, and developing strategies that support long-term health, vitality, and quality of life.

Outside of medicine, movement and fitness have always been an important part of who I am. I played collegiate soccer before discovering distance running, and I have since completed three marathons, numerous half marathons, and team events including Ragnar and Ville to Ville. I have also been an avid CrossFit athlete since 2012. I grew up in Upstate New York but have called South Carolina home for more than half of my life.

My philosophy is simple: healthcare should not only be about treating illness. I believe it should also be about helping people understand their bodies, advocate for their health, and have the opportunity to feel strong, capable, and well throughout every season of life.
