Iron infusion therapy at The Vitality Co. is designed to support individuals with iron deficiency who may not tolerate or respond adequately to oral iron supplementation. This service utilizes iron sucrose 200 mg, administered intravenously in a comfortable, supervised clinical setting.
Iron infusion therapy may help support energy levels, endurance, cognitive function, and overall wellness when iron levels are suboptimal. Treatment plans are individualized based on lab values, symptoms, and clinical assessment. Multiple infusions may be recommended depending on iron status and provider guidance.
All iron infusions require prior approval from one of our nurse practitioners. Recent laboratory testing (within the past 8 weeks) is required to confirm eligibility and ensure safe, appropriate treatment. Required tests typically include a complete blood count (CBC) and iron studies. If you have not had recent laboratory work completed, we can obtain the initial labs for a fee of $100.
